went to my first beginner jam tonight. What a blast. I felt so lost and stupid the first half, stumbling all thru the simplest of chord changes, trying to figure out a roll pattern to fit the song. Luckly the one thing I seem to be decent at after months of practice and that is picking softly. After about half an hour I seemed to calm down and get my chords faster and manage to catch the speed and rhythm of the group or so I think. I found several things I am going to practice this week and will definatly be going back for more.
