I acquired a 1927 Gibson TB-3 with BB archtop tonering right here through the classifieds. It was a one owner banjo, well cared for and in excellent condition. I am in the process of having Ron Coleman (Outlaw Banjos) build a 5 string neck for it. I sent the pot to Ron so he could fit the neck and match the color. He took great care of the pot and returned it to me a couple of weeks ago and hopefully I'll be receiving the finished neck in the next couple of weeks. Ron has been a pleasure to work with and I am anticipating this to be a fabulous TB3 conversion once it's all complete. I'll update when it's all completed. Of course, I am keeping the original tenor neck, bridge and case so that I can always go back to the original configuration.
