My all time favorite bands: Patti Smith (you must hear her version of Teen Spirit, features banjo), Lunachicks, Tom Waits, Rancid, Beck, Hole, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams I & III, The Clash, David Bowie, The Gourds, Bad Livers,Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, Gansta Grass (a genre, I know).
Some of my favorite recent discoveries are Riley Baugus, Tim Eriksen, Dwight Diller, and Uncle Earl.
