Playing off/on 30+ years. Self-taught using Scrugg's book and friends along the way. Retired, finally have the time to devote to it. Used to own a Gibson RB-800 I bought new from the PX for $1200 (really!! ) while stationed in Berlin. Now own two of Mark Platin's Wildwood resonators, a short scale and a long neck from Pisgah Banjo Co.
The Gibson went to Gruhn's long ago. I hope it found a good home; sure miss it, would love to have it back again. Nice to be here. John.
