I'll tell you you why, I moved from the cascade mountains of washington state to served my country in the navy, at 19 years old I used my first elevator. ATM , first television, just about everything city folks had, I had electricity but lived off the land and we Believed in music and old 4x4 off roading. And hunting and spending what ever time in "yuppie" land for school or work and high tale it a hour back to the woods, I never listen to the radio or CDs tell the navy and I tried " finding my way" today so called county music and what people call themselfs country boys have yet to determind but since I was familiar with internet a couple months ago I typed in YouTube while on duty and typed blue grass, then it lead to banjo and feel in Love then type. Learning the banjo, then Dave hum showed up and at 23 years old with two kids and a wife and dog serving my county I cried wile wearing my navy uniform on duty because with any of his songs with lyrics there were beautiful, complicated but simple, no bad mouth or rapping or poser type songs they were all real and so was he, and now and I'm dedicating my self to leading the 5 string banjo and bring back to the cold washington state alaska culture and let everyone know what true roots music sound like, thank you Dave hum, and anyone willing to give any advice at all never even held a banjo but once and it was out of tune please chime In or if. Your local lets shake hands and dip or what not. And exchange music. God blesses and remember...America is freedom
