I blame my wife. I was perfectly happy blowing flutes and whistles, until she wanted a banjo for Christmas. I couldn't keep my hands off it. Had to get my own in the end. I've spent the last year or so just getting it to sound right. I think I'm nearly there, though the quest for the Holy Grail is looking like a walk in the park now!
