My Instruments:
Irish concertina, banjo, button accordion, dulcimer, spoons, harmonica, guitar strumming, piano noodling. Only fair to midlin' on these at best (so far), but sure is fun, plan to improve.
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Bruce Molesky, and all authentic Old Time pickers and bowers....too many to name. Enjoy Irish Trad as much as Old Time. Raised two pretty gifted musician kids (mostly played their Irish Trad roots starting out). Our son became a professional Irish tenor player, daughter still pays Irish fiddle, whistle, Uillean pipes. So I guess they are my favorite musicians!

I dabbled a bit on any instrument I could get my hands on from around age 10. Raised in musical household, three brothers all professional musicians, so always lots of music in the house growing up. Never could read music myself (LD's), but always easily picked up tunes by ear. Kept busy raising the kids and keeping family going so didn't take time back then to indulge myself and make time for my playing to improve. Planning on taking the time now.
