not really any.. but i am determined to learn the banjo...

hav a lot of favorite bands and groups... but i would say that the one that influenced me the most when i was growing up would be robby huffman and the bluegrass cutups... love most any type country, gospel and blugrass.

i was born in alabama... but grew up in north carolina... my mom use to tell me i was weaned on bluegrass music... we would go to a country music show in goldsboro every saturday night in the late 60's.my dad got to know some of the musicians so we were invited to some of the jam sessions and pickin' & grinnin' sessions as well. i have always loved to listen to the banjo, mandolin and fiddle... but the banjo has always had my heart... now that i am older, my health is not so good... have had several heart attacks over the past 3 years, my doctor says i need to get into a hobby... well this is it, i am gona learn if it kills me... lol.
