I took the folk song John Henry & changed the chords And several of the notes, Chnging the melody, I used the Electric 5 string banjo, The electric bluegrass banjo, & an electric nylon string banjo to modifi the lead notes & it called it (( J. Henry the second ))) it`s never been played like this with these instruments or in this way before. So I`m the composer. Dan Surber

I recorded this on a CD called the Cuz CD which featured Porter Wagoner & his daughter Debra Jean, the songs used to make the copolation are public domain songs written by Buck Trent in the 60`s, Who gave me permission in 1986 to use them any way I saw fit, I chose to take several of his songs & place them together as a medoly & Called it Picking on Buck.
