Two jigs in odd keys (E major and A major), one Scottish and the other Irish. Multi-track experiment with my tenor and new bodhran and mandolin...a little sloppy -- okay, a lot sloppy ... :)

This is an old, old reel, but as arranged for tenor banjo by Tom Hanway based on the playing of Clare whistler Micho Russell. See the lead post of this thread for the arrangement: http://www.banjohangout.org/topic/314928

Slip jig played slowly and simply on tenor banjo for a Tune of the Month example in the new Irish forum. One of the most popular (if not the most popular) Irish slip jigs. Most of the tune is much older, but this title and one of the 3 parts were from 20th-century fiddler Tommy Potts.

Scottish jig (or march) from the Shetland islands -- probably Norwegian in origin. Played on 5-string banjo, G tuning. First heard on Aly Bain and Ale Moller's "Fully Rigged."
