#971

Posted 3/25/2011 8:19:00 PM

Nearing the final processes of restoration. The new white binding is being replace with something more appropriate. Strings are all askew because they haven't been trimmed. Neck attachment needs an overhaul, which is in process, along with new binding. When I speak of restoration, I aim for playable pieces, not just Museum Quality. That term is beginning to be defined as; Cosmetically presentable, but unplayable. I go beyond Museum Quality. I know there are doubters out there. To each his own.

I think you were trying to show how you have been bonding with the binding. I know you love it.

Bonding with the binding? No I hope to bind the binding in the binding channel if it all binds the way it should bind. This is not to be considered a binding answer in any manner, whatsoever, bound or not bound. Bound or not bound, hmmmm, that is the question. For is it nobler to bind than not to bind? These are the questions asked throughout humanity but yet is dealt to the world on winds filled with banjo tunes.
