A very interesting looking instrument. Please tell me a bit about it. Does just your finger on the string change the note?

Jim, one uses the back of the finger, at the knuckle region, sort of fretting in reverse. The hard knuckle bone area gives a clearer note. It's surprising how loud and clear the instrument can sound without the fingerboard. The biggest disadvantage is the very limiting scale range...one string is a simple open drone.
