The new railway commissioner in the 1920s was W.A. Web from the Kansas City RR. He upgraded all our small English style locos with big Yankee types.

Great lookin engines they were too...more "industrial" and cluttered than the English types, they had more of a look of purpose about them...ironic given that they were built in England.....would have loved to see them in anger...
