Old Brazilian Rosewood next to superb piece of quarter-sawn Amazon Rosewood. Very close botanically and not separated as different species till hte 1960's. Colors almost identical with Amazon(True) rosewood bout 5% higher sp.gr. 1 floats(braz.), 1 sinks(amazon) Dalbergia spruceana. Michael for the doc. tymburrs
