Thanks. Yes, I'm an illustrator. I worked in the art department of an engineering company for a lot of years, drawing boilers and machinery. Hey, they had great benefits. Anyway, I've been meaning to do a little write-up about India ink on banjo heads. People have been doing it forever...skin heads, Remo heads. It takes beautifully, wears well and doesn't alter the sound at all.

Cool! Please do that write up. It would make a great thread. I bet BHO members could post some great photos of their own banjo head drawings. Wish I could draw like you. I'm more of a doodler :)
