This is a tape that Jim gave me a good while back. It is some great music and a fine gift from Jim. It was recorded in 1988 with Jim gave me permission to share this with you all. Let him know what ya think. Jim Reed on Banjo, Jackie Ray on dobro, Timmy Cline on lead vocals, guitar & bass, Albin Clevinger on fiddle & mandolin, Mike Mullins on lead guitar & mandolin, Kevin Prater on tenor vocals & bass, Otis Lynn Dillon on bass.

Donnie,
Do you mean that Jim meant for you to record this and post on here with it?
Jim posted some dynamite stuff tonight with great vocals and instrumentals. Is any of that from this tape?

Ken, Jim and I planned not to post the same tunes. I thought the picture is a nice lead into the songs that we posted. Not sure I understand your entire question here.

I saw Jim post some tunes and I did not see you post any tunes. I was not sure what you meant when you said "JIm gave me permission to share this with you". I was not sure if you meant share the picture, the story, or the music on the tape. Sorry if I was unclear.
Ken
Ps Does this cassette have One Morning in May on it? Is it all instrumental or are there vocals on it.

Ken, it No problem with the post, I just did not totally understand. Some confusion comes from Jim listed by me as writing the tunes. We know he did not, but the site would not let me leave it blank and still post it, so I listed Jim as the writer or author. I do not really recall which. Main thing is we all should be able to enjoy his great music.
