Note: this picture shows a position marker on the 9th fret. I never knew its serial number, so I can't date it, but does this marker on the 9th fret indicate an early style A? I wish I could find this banjo, but I'm afraid the original neck was replaced long ago. I wrote my name on the inside of the resonator, and like a stupid idiot,as a sophomore in college, I tried to add a couple of extra tuning pegs to try to get a Scruggs. This defaced the beautiful inlay on the peg-head.
