All cherry "mountain" style banjo. I haven't built one of these in a while, it was fun. This one has a tensioning system for the rim so the head doesn't get slack. Also steel strings and geared tuners.

That's a beauty, Nate. I love the look and sound of these mountain banjos. Sure wish I knew how to play...............
