I don't think it was folly...we can make a difference in some people's lives.
But I think as youths we thought we'd make a difference on a much grander scale. ;o)

Thanks, that was in the days when all us bobbys wore were what you see there. No stab vests, Pepper spray or Tazers for us, just a wooden truncheon. How the times change.
