Most of what I know comes from the M.I.T. Book, but Richard at Gryphon was able to find an illustration in an 1880's catalogue. The banjo was purchased by me in the 1990's from a good friend and stringed instrument dealer in San Francisco who bought it at a flea market. There were a series of "Chime" banjos with the "Parlor Chime" being one.
