I thought you had one. I'm working on the set-up now. Have it in pieces in my shop. I am really impressed with the construction. Will post some photos later.

Yup. That's an early one. Doesn't even have the "OME" on the peghead. Great to have a Silverspun ring. They sound superb when set-up properly. And they are versatile. You can set them up "warm" for Old Time, or "bright" for Bluegrass. (Tho a resonator helps for a BG set-up.) Be aware that on the early ones, the neck-rod will ONLY take out a forward bow. (The "double-acting" neck-rod didn't come in until the '80s, I believe.) Congrats! Nice banjo.

Thanks Ed. I assumed that about the truss rod. Fortunately the neck on this one need no adjustment. What tuners would it have had? These are gold-plated 5-stars.
