Radio King was a Slingerland logo. They made a line of drums marked with that name Here is some history: vintagedrumguide.com/radio_kin...tory.html
The hide head might have been produced by the United Tanning Co. of Chicago. They made hide heads for Slingerland and others like Ludwig. Jeff Stern bought that business and some of the equipment a few years ago. He sill produces machine-sanded hides in the same way.

It's pretty thin compared to the Roger's heads I have seen. It's very smooth on both sides. I guess the sanding process does that.

Jeff's hides can be ordered in different thicknesses depending on your requirements. I think the original company offered the same.
