This is my first Banjo which I made with my father in 1975 when I was 17. Most of the parts are from a company called Liberty Banjo. It has an archtop tone ring, Tiger Maple neck and rim and ebony fingerboard. The inlay work is mine and if you look carefully I made some mistakes but it plays well for Clawhammer and sounds pretty good for a bluegrass banjo too despite having no resonator. It also helped me get into Engineering School since I wrote about it for my college application essay.
