I have recently bought two parlor guitars. The one on the left is a 1920's Harmony parlor. The one to the right is a new Republic parlor.

Why do you like parlor guitars? I have a 20's Washburn, and never play it. They are cute, though!

I play old-time music in a band, and the parlor guitar is THE old-time guitar. Take a look at Riley Baugus from the Skillet Lickers on the old photos. He is one of the best old time pickers. The 20' Harmony has a sound that suits the music very fine. But my main instrument is a Blueridge a wonderful looking and sounding guitar. I will put up photos of more instruments along the way.
