I used to have an old banjo newsletter, with a little story about the small head stock on TY's banjo's, I think the year was 1976, not sure, In the 50's,, I saw a banjo contest, in Hugo Oklahoma, The guy who one first place was pickin a Imperial He could choose a Imperial,, or fine Gibson,, or a nice baldwin,, He chose the Imperial,, They sounded great,, I think that due to the number of these banjo's made,, that they would start to be colectable by now?? THANKS for the picture.

Boy this is a fine looking machine. I just purchased my first Imperial 1978 Style 0 banjo. Love it to death and am on my way to purchasing a Shilo here in the coming week.
