Myself and the legendary one of a kind Baldwin arch-top that was owned by Larry McNeely. His name is scratched on the inside of the rim with something else related to Scientology. It needs a little bit of set up - however, its still a great banjo. The current owner brought it over to Athens Alabama during the Tennessee Valley Fiddlers Convention for me to look over and of course play. It was like holding a piece of history especially since I have some of those old Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour videos with Larry playing that very banjo. He was a great influence for me when I was first learning.

Dan, I have to say that it did not compare.....Since I have gotten the original E pot back the sound is great and to my ears, sound much better than the arch top. Now, mine needs a new fret job, however it still played better than the Baldwin. The Baldwin just needs a set-up and thats probably all.
