thank you, I miss Vassar, I first heard about him on the Will The Circle Be Unbroken album, which is my all time favorite album, and years later when I came to Nashville, I stopped by the Long Hollow Jamboree, it is impossible to describe the feeling I felt playing Earls breakdown with Vassar on fiddle.... long story short, we became a friends and he invited me to recording sessions on 16th Ave. it was unbelievable experience...he asked me to record some steel guitar tracks on some of his songs, but I never had a nerve to do it....Vassar was a good good man...bless his soul...
