Nice axe. I love the old precisions. My first "real" bass was a Gibson Ripper 4 string. Natural woodgrain finish. I put some nylon flatwounds on it and played it for years (rock, country, gospel) Travelled with a gospel Quartet for a while and met some good people. But I still miss that ol' bass, and wish i still had it.
Oh, Played it through an old Kustom red metalflake amp w/2 15's. Had one gutbustin' low end. Come to think of it, I miss it too !
