Hi Dock, I just uploaded pictures of one of my banjos - a hybrid with an SS Stewart 12.5" rim and what I believe is a turn of the 20th century Silvertone neck. Some of the inlays on mine are very similar, if not identical, to those on your Dobson. In the case of the Silvertone, the inlays are embedded into "junky" ebonized fingerboard. I assume that the Dobson has ebony fingerboard. Yigal
