Wow, that is truly beautiful! I've never seen a tailpiece like that before. What is it?

Hi Darren, The tailpiece is an Ottinger style. C.C. Richelieu of Richelieu Banjos aquired the patten on this tailpiece and made them in his shop. He called them " The Tensionater" tailpiece. One of my jobs was to sand and buff the bronze pieces, then assemble the tailpiece and take them to the metal platers in Madison Wisconsin.
