Very nice...did you make the neck? I was in Roxbury in September...annual pilgrimage with another boyhood pal. One of these days we'll get together. It would be nice to meet you and see your banjos.

No - The neck came with the pot - It was a bit of a mess when I got it (no head or tuners, worn finish etc). Converting it it an
"A scale" tenor 5-string was a bit of an experiment. I really like the way it sounds. There is no tone ring, the head is stretched right over the pot. That, combined with the short neck, gives it sort of delicate sound. It is my current favorite one to play.
Absolutely - shoot me an email if you are going to be in the area - It would be nice to get together - perhaps a coffee at Roxbury Market...
