His book is terrific. Got to see him with Ricky Skaggs & band here in Austin a year ago Christmas. They played here and it was a RED HOT session - all straight bluegrass. They commented it was good to have one night when they were only going to do one Christmas piece - apparently they had been playing Christmas concerts for several weeks. Jim is a heck of a banjo player, and Gibson expert!
