Very Elegant!
It looks VERY modern... But it also reflects certain design elements of the 1840s -- and even some of the Japanese-inspired work of the 1870s and '80s.

Actually it's a combination of elements from 1840 banjos in Peter Szego's collection and some new ideas that Peter and I, along with Pete Ross, came up with. Peter will have it at the next collectors gathering.
