In the background from the left is Walter Ligget and Oscar Stone - the banjo and fiddle players of Dr. Humphrey Bate's Possum Hunters band - the first string band to perform on what would become the Grand Ole Opry. Is the fellow on the far right Redd Stewart of the Golden West Cowboys?
