is it a tenor? The EPI A is a superb instrument ,I have a 1925 20 fret maple A with a cast flange, your banjo looks to be earlier too as the flange holes are oval like mine, check out the description/pics in the 1928 EPIPHONE CATALOGUE at acousticmusic.org,, see my forum comments, paragonjohn.
