Holy Cow! And you were worried about how much to spend on a good starter banjo!!! I would say somewhere between a top-shelf classic muscle car and a multi-million dollar high-tech piece of military hardware would make a dandy budget. That would probably leave you having to settle on a Stelling Viking or a pre-war original Grenada 5-string flathead. LOL
BTW - Impressive photo. Are you a pilot?
