For Sale: Nechville Timber-Tronic Tone Ring &#39Used&#39 MINT Condition $195 - $195 USD

For your consideration is a Nechville Timber-Tronic tone ring in ‘used’ mint condition. This tone ring is designed for Nechville banjos with a Heli-Mount rim assembly. Its lightweight construction belies the fact that it offers great volume without sacrificing a loss in treble, mid-range, or bass response - a true renaissance tone ring if ever there was one. But best of all, this tone ring reduces the overall weight of a Nechville banjo by a whopping 25 percent (sore shoulders and weak backs rejoice!). This MINT Timber-Tronic tone ring is priced for a quick sale at only $195 – more than HALF of Nechville’s $400 factory retail price...!

As stated, the price of this tone ring is $195. An additional $20 to cover shipping, insurance, and tracking via US Postal Service (USPS) will be added to the price.

Sorry, this sale is limited to the 48 contiguous United States (i.e., the Lower Forty-Eight). No sales to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or any foreign destinations. :o(

If interested, please contact me through The Banjo Hangout. And as always, thanks for looking!

For Sale: Gibson 4 hole archtop tone ring. Gold plated. From a RB-500 - $400 USD

I was wrong it's a Gibson 4 hole archtop tone ring. Gold plated. From the 1950's -1960's. From a RB-500. The Gibson RB-500 Mastertone from the 1960s typically featured gold-plated hardware and a flathead or 40-hole archtop configuration depending on the exact year and custom specs. A 4-hole archtop variant in gold is an uncommon, highly specific vintage component configuration usually tied to mid-60s factory orders or hybrid builds.

Gold Tone Pot Assembly with Bela Fleck model red maple rim and no-hole Tone Ring. Just add a neck and resonator and you'll have a great banjo! I've tried a lot of expensive boutique ring/rim combinations and IMO Gold Tone is making some of the best sounding banjos out there today. No hype. 2 Schaller D- tuners - I've never seen a set of these engraved, wildly rare!
2 Gibson stamped Schaller regular tuners
Schaller 5th - I've only ever had one other engraved like this. Engraved on both sides of the body

For Sale: Late 20&#39s TB-1 or 2 five string conversion neck - $400 USD

5-string conversion neck for late 20's shoe bracket hoop banjos (TB-1, -2). Looks to be home-made but is decent, intonation is good, and plays well. Has what appears to be a repaired crack or other anomaly on the fingerboard under the 5th string higher up on the neck but does not interfere with playability and is barely noticeable (see pics). Has original Grover two tab tuners and a new Gotoh 5th, but will need a 5th string nut. This is no Frank Neat neck, but it is a decent and very playable neck, esp for the money.
