I had to enter a price on the site but that is not specific to any item so make me an offer and I can answer any questions you may have. The better banjo mute
Super Effective
$44.95 (includes Shipping in the U.S., additional $19 outside U.S.)

Easy on and off
No string buzz
Stays in place
Enhanced sustain
Fits most bridges, including compensated bridges
AVAILABLE IN OUR MOST POPULAR 5 STRING STANDARD MODEL
ALSO AVAILABLE IN RADIUS AND 4 STRING MODEL
Convenient size
Does not add that metallic sound

A smart accessory to own, Mike’s Banjo Mute reduces volume to make practicing quieter. Parts are cut, polished, and assembled by hand and quality tested to ensure consistent quality.

The force required to attach or remove some mutes can move the bridge. Instead, Mike’s Banjo Mute goes on and off easily. The hook of soft aluminum holds firmly but gently to the cutouts in the bridge while solid brass rests on top to very effectively mute the banjo to a level that won’t disturb others in close proximity. Fixed nylon screws that won't move or scratch the bridge hold it snugly in place.

Nylon screws are preferred over any other. Its slight flexing allows the mute to rest to the backside of the bridge to prevent annoying string buzz. Unlike plastic, it will last a lifetime. Unlike metal, it creates a more pleasing, softer sound and offers an enhanced sustain.

With the mute on, your banjo plays slightly quieter than a guitar at normal volume so it becomes a great play along instrument. It generates no string buzz or metallic sound and offers an enhanced sustain. It relieves your spouse of hearing the 300th rendition of Foggy Mountain Breakdown, or the fumbling twangs of a song in early practice. It’s great for close quarter apartment dwellers, midnight and early morning pickers, and those playing away from home in a hotel room or office.

Mike’s Banjo Mute completely detaches from the banjo for regular play to avoid any unwanted overtones.

Mike’s Banjo Mute has a low 3/8” profile above the bridge, avoiding any interference with proper hand positioning during play. With its convenient petite size (2 ¾ x ¾ x ¾) and protective storage bag, Mike’s Banjo Mute fits in any case and easily travels with you wherever you go.

Most orders are shipped in one business day after receipt of funds.

Try it for a week. 7 day money back guarantee less S&H.

Be sure to check out the review of Mike's Banjo Mute in the June 2008 issue of The Banjo NewsLetter.

For Sale: New Sosebee Banjo Stands - $265 USD

These are rectangular wooden stands that sit on the floor. There is a space that perfectly fits a standard 11 inch resonator banjo. These are almost fool proof stands that will keep a banjo from falling in almost all circumstances. The price is for one stand. Banjo not included. There is a video below that demonstrates this .<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuIOf4he5bQ" target="_blank">youtube.com/watch?v=VuIOf4he5bQ</a> Thanks for looking.

For Sale: New Sosebee Fold Up Banjo Stands - $175 USD

This is a banjo stand I designed that folds up very flat. It has stainless steel spring clips that automatically lock the legs in place when you open it up. It also has magnets that keep the legs from unfolding while transporting.
It is made from Baltic Birch plywood and has the same adjustable screw out knob as my bigger stands.
Like my other stands, it is designed to hold a Mastertone style banjo that has a full size resonator.
Thanks for looking.

For Sale: Christmas card from Akira Tsumura - shows 5 Big Chief Ludwigs - $25 USD

Some 30 years ago , having had the great pleasure of doing business with Mr. Tsumura, I would sometimes receive Christmas greeting cards from Akira which always included lovely photos showing his latest additions to his fabulous collection. This particular card includes Akira, wife and daughter each standing with a Ludwig Big Chief banjo with yet another pair of Big Chiefs in the foreground. Pretty cool and mind-blowing photograph showing resonator backs of FIVE Ludwig Big Chiefs.
Alas there are no banjo collectors in the family and , following another wake for a friend, I'm reminded that I may not be on the 200-year plan , so I thought I'd try to find this keepsake a loving new home with someone who will cherish it the way I have for the past few decades. While Akira is known to the world I will show the card with family faces blurred. This is special and one of the most extravagant Christmas cards I've ever received...a classy collector card from a truly classy guy. More photos available for serious buyer. I have another card listed on the hangout...$25 each or $45 for both.

For Sale: Christmas card from Akira Tsumura - shows 20 plus rare banjos - $25 USD

Many years ago , having had the great pleasure of doing business with Mr. Tsumura, I would sometimes receive Christmas greeting cards from Akira which always included lovely photos showing his latest additions to his fabulous collection. This particular card includes Akira, his wife and daughter each standing with a top model rare banjo with a flock of over 20 top-of-the-line banjos in the foreground. Another mind-numbing photograph that sure put a smile on my face. It appears to have been taken in a music room surrounded by what appears to be a huge vinyl LP collection. Alas there are no banjo collectors in the family and , following another wake for a friend, I'm reminded that I may not be on the 200-year plan , so I thought I'd try to find this keepsake a loving new home with someone who will cherish it the way I have for the past few decades. While Akira is known to the world I prefer to blur faces of family members. This is another special and extravagant Christmas card...a classy collector card from a truly classy guy. I have another one posted on hangout. $25 each or $45 for both.
