This is from our October 8, 2008 jam night. It's early in the evening so we are just one fiddle, a hammered dulcimer, 2 guitars, 2 mandolins and I am on the cello banjo. Our fast fiddler had not yet shown up. I have seen this tune published in A, but as far as I can remember we have always played it in D around here. In going through my old copy of Miles Krassens book I found a tune list of mine from around 1981 and I had it in D then, although I do not remember where I learned it. Maybe from Lyle.

As hoedown #53 in Dear Old Illinois it is in D. That sounded good! Your CEB-5 sounded great (I am so jealous that I don't have one yet).
