Very good! Focus on the eveness and timing particularly when you are playing the straight rolls. You done good, I'm sure your new teacher is looking forward to working with you. You have promise.

Good picking. You have talent. That makes everyone's job a lot easier, yours and your teacher's.

I agree—I definitely hear promise. You sound like you've made peace with this tempo and are holding to it very well. Tonally your playing is also more even. At around the 0:40 point, you dropped a beat or a couple of notes...but that may be because you're reading tab (?) and just skipped over a little section. (I would do worse with tab!) Keep picking, and don't forget to listen to lots of good banjo playing, without even trying to "learn." Just let it absorb. I guarantee you can't go wrong.

Nice. It would be good for you to learn how to play without any bounce, as straight as possible, and get your timing solid, then practice the same tunes with bounce. A good phrase to repeat to yourself, over and over, to get the idea of bounce is: CHAT-ta-NOO-ga, CHAT-ta-NOO-ga. Try it while playing the introduction (same as the B part) to Cripple Creek.
Nice job here. Keep the tempos steady and don't be concerned with playing fast yet. Your timing needs to be the focus for now.
