My version of this traditional tune combining melodic style and Scruggs style. My wife, Lynn, is on bass and I'm on banjo and guitar.

Nice job Bill! I still can't play that tune without tripping over my fingers.

Thank you, Jon. It took me a long time to be able to do this tune, too. :^)

Great Bill! - I particularly like the part where you go into Scruggs after the melodic. Couldn't be cleaner and it had a nice flow to it. - almost like you knew what you were doing! lol! I used to play this one on guitar - fun tune eh?

Howdy, Laurence, and thank you for the nice comment. I'm not much of a melodic picker, so this was particularly difficult for me to mix the two together in this tune. It IS a fun tune! :^)

WOW, you blow my socks off, and believe me they are not easy to reach to put back on. I love the western songs, Poncho and Lefty, Good Bad and Uguly, Ghost Riders. Do you have tabs for any of these? Do you have CD's or instruction material? Sorry for the questions but I'm a fan. Thanks for the entertainment.

Howdy, Dennis, and thank you for your very kind comments. I only play by ear, so I do not have tab for any of the tunes I play. For the same reason, I do not have instruction material.
If you are looking for a source for learning to play banjo, I highly recommend The Murphy Method www.murphymethod.com . I learned to play banjo from The Murphy Method and love it! You won't be disappointed. :^)
