Absolutely awsome...wonderful piece of music, beautifully done. Thank you. I have a student from Uzbekistan, but she doesn't play the banjo. Is there any tab available for this song?

When I was around your age I wanted to figure out this song on the banjo, as it was popular and on the radio all the time, but the band I was in demanded too much of my time. I never got around to it.
Your rendition of Classical Gas is very good. The supporting instrumentation really helps the banjo sound like it is meant to be there. Your new banjo has a good sound to it and you play it well.
Great achievement.

Janna - the music sounds great! I know the arrangement came from Bobby Thompson's version of the tune on Area Code 615's album in the 1960s. Did you use music recording software to perfect the timing of the notes? I ask this as the playing sounds more precise than even Bobby's playing. Many people in the music business have used this to perfect their recordings, though in the past, things were often done live because it was harder to fix things as music software / computers were not available to help out. In any case, you picked up on Bobby's arrangement almost note for note, which is quite an accomplishment!
