Played on a Gold Tone Cripple Creek. Had been playing banjo for about 1 month when I recorded this. Added ukulele and guitar bass parts.

i like the singing. did you do your own harmonies?
this was also the first song i ever learned or recorded. i have an instrumental version of it, on my hangout homepage, recorded 2 months after i started to learn the banjo.. i don't know the lyrics (plus i can't sing a lick)

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the feedback. I did all of the vocals, but it wasn't harmony. I just sang the same thing on top of the initial recording. Just makes it sound kind of fuller. I'm not good at singing harmony. I'm amazed at people who can do that.
I listened to your recording. It was very good.

Great job. You've only been playing a month? I couldn't play that good for a lot longer and to sing along with it is amazing at this point. You are going to be fantastic in the future if this is what you have as a beginner. Keep up the good work and I'll be looking forward to more.
