This is my compressed (1'13;")version of this famous song from the seventies... I knew I'd always be singing off-key when listening through headphones. Then why was I trying to record dobro that way? I have no valid answer....

When I first saw this post I passed over it thinking that would have to sound like s***. Well curiosity killed the cat and I had a listen. Boy was I wrong. The dobro is just superb and the banjo is just a smok'n across the water. Your banjo sounds really, really good.

I learned to hate "Smoke on the Water" due to some beginner guitarist in the neighbourhood practicing this for many weeks. Well, how should I put it... do you have an "uncompressed" recording of your terrific version? I love it...

Unfortunately no...
This is the whole piece. Took me about 4 hours to play all the tracks, taking care not to step on the other instruments and then finally edit it.
But it was worth every minute for the sheer fun of it, I made this for a clip contest on a guitar forum and ...won.
