This spirited drinking song was composed in both verse and music by Carolan for his wealthy patron, George Brabazon of New Park (afterward called Brabazon Park) in Kilconduff, County Mayo. Thanks, Janet, it's kind of hypnotic and, to me, implies champagne by the magnum. Similar in spirit to Maurice O'Connor.
