A second take on old favorite Soldiers Joy that is heavy on the joy and light on the finesse. The first is on my son's BHO music page with fiddle & banjo: http://www.banjohangout.org/myhangout/music.asp?id=15587 Can't believe we never tried it before, but the cut from the Circle album with John McEuen and Earl Scruggs was one of those banjo cuts that got my head spinning. Loved it. Anyway, here's our crazy father/son take on it. Dad is playing CH and son is BG style. Check his page out for more of same.

Great duet! I wonder how many pickers were inspired by Earl and John on "Circle". I know I was, but you guys really pull it off. Thanks for sharing.
