Scroll down and you will see a player for "Petronella and Green Mountain Petronella". Before this I didn't know that there were two tunes with the word Petronella in the title. There is a particular contra dance set called Petronella done to the tune of that name, and I suppose one can do the same set to "Green Mountain Petronella". As to the name, the Fiddlers companion has a great deal of information including:

Jack Campin finds the title derives from petronel, a type of pistol employed in the 16th and 17th centuries. The petronel was known as a horse-man’s weapon from which both the pistol and carbine developed. The name itself is a variant of the French word petrinel I or poitrinal, given because the weapon was fired with the butt resting against the chest (poitrine, from the Latin pectus), or because it was carried slung from belt across the chest. There is also a St. Petronella, the daughter of St. Peter, martyred in Rome in the first century.

Oh, and although I learned of the tune from that link I list above, I actually worked out the tune based on midi derived from the ABC code for "Green Mountain Petronella" on the Fiddler's companion site.
