This is my first attempt at rolls (no picks on my Morgan Monroe Cameron open back). This may be the best I ever do so am posting it. Comments welcome...good or bad!

Well played Karen, sounded great..!
I pick bare finger all the time, even now at Open Mic nights and can't imagine going back to picks or plectrum. This is one of the songs I'm about to tackle at the next meet on Wednesday night.. (gulp..) and you've inspired me, thanks.
Best wishes....David
P.S... there's always room for improvement in everyone, we just have to keep on a pushing until there's no pushing left.. ;-)

Thanks for the encouragement, David. I'm sure preparing for Open Mic will inspire you to really shine. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Karen

Hi Karen,
I usually post my ups and downs of performing out in the Group 'Open Mic Night'. If you join it, everytime a post is made, you'll be flagged.

Hi Karen, you are doing great! Keep practicing, practicing, and you guessed it more practicing. The difficulties of singing and playing at the same time are many. But if you just keep doing it you will start to be able to sing without even really thinking about what you are playing too much. I'm getting a little more comfortable with it and the only way to do that is to just keep at. I never could 3 finger pick and sing at the same time, claw is a little easier for me to sing with for some reason. Unless I pick the exact same pattern receptively (like I did on Swept Away) I just can't get it. Such a cute pic of the happy dog lovin' mom's music!
