This is my latest, current recording of my favorite song of all time. With digital MP3; for David who has this very discerning, acute ear;-) It's a bit "slower-paced" but I think the quality is better and David will appreciate the endeavor....anyway, here it is and I feel it's not too bad for an 'ole codger like me to sing at the age of 75...many of my relatives and friends my age are facing going into nursing homes....but not me!!! This is too much fun to seek security, food and shelter provided by someone else! ;-) Robert

Thanks David; I always appreciate you comments. Glad you liked this version. I may speed it up a bit and replace it with a better one later; but right now I'm suffering from a severe sinus infection which affects my voice and desire to record...but I'm feeling better today and hopefully will be back to "normal" in a few days! Sorry to hear that Robert, I hope you feel better soon.
If I have a cold or the start of one, I get a real deep croaky voice and have to keep driving Julia mad with Barry White impressions..!.. :-) About time a I grew up for some reason.
I look forward to any future recordings Robert.. ;-)
Best wishes....David

Thanks David; I'm feeling much better today! But, it will take a few days to, like you say, get rid of this "deep-croaky voice" ;-)
Robert
P.S. I'd be interested in hearing your Barry White impression....and, it's not good to "grow up" too soon...;-)

When I get this "deep croaky voice" I drive Elaine "mad" with my Leonard Cohen impressions...;-)

I used to work perminent nights for 10 years and only had a few colds in all that time, batched up away from the day mob, now I've left all that behind I get them a few times a year, so you may not have that long to wait..!
