This is my first recording of Red Wing. I need to make some adjustment on my timing and in some changes my hand is a little stiff, but with more hours of practice under the belt I think I will make it sound better.

Hi Magolli, despite to odd timing issue you mention, you're coming on great and played this pretty classic well I thought.
Thanks for posting and keep that practice regular and meaningful mate.. ;-) .. best wishes...David

Really good. Do you play this by heart or looking at tablature? I usually play better looking at the tablature and it takes quite some time to learn to play the same piece by heart without messing up in some parts. Do you practice with background tracks? Perhaps that would be a good next step. I will set up something when I have finished renovating the house so I can practice along with background tracks to get a bit of a jam or band feeling.

Thanks guys. I play this one looking at the tab but I only "read" two measures that help me keep focused. Right now I am not using any back up at all, but I am planning to do so in the near future, I think that is a great way to maintain time and feel the music more.
I will start working on the fiddle arrangement of this tune and hopefully put both parts together to get a longest tune. And I need to improve the pull off, sometimes it comes ok, sometimes it doesn`t......

Nicely played! Sounds like you're making good progress to me.

Thanks Jim, I am trying to practice on daily basis, but work is keeping me very busy. The shame is that I don`t have places to jam here in my country so I will need to start working with back up songs....
